At Shanghai Plaza, the Moncler boutique makes a statement from the outside: on the façade, the Moncler logo is handcrafted in glass dotted with bubbles, as if carved directly into ice.
The entrance, designed as an experience room, creates a powerful contrast between modernity and rusticity. LED-tiled floors and ceilings frame the space and guide the eye toward the staircase, while walls of rough-hewn Alpine stone anchor the space in a strong sense of minerality.
The staircase with its metallic curves, the backbone of the project, evokes the works of Richard Serra. Each onyx step is crafted with perfectly continuous veining, a testament to masterful craftsmanship.
Throughout the boutique, the nobility of the materials is taken to its peak.
