Réfractions brings together blown glass and silver metal in a dialogue of reflections and transparencies. Vases, carafes, night carafes, and candles sit alongside bases, napkin rings, knife rests, and matchboxes, designed as mirrored surfaces.
The mirror structures the collection. It captures light, reflects it, amplifies it, refracts it… The glass sparkles, the metal prolongs the sparkle. The shapes seem animated by their own reflections, in a subtle interplay between material and light.
