In Hangzhou’s Eurostreet, Moncler has opened a boutique where the physical design is taken to its absolute limit, creating a spectacular new space that combines classic elegance with architectural elements that propel Moncler’s aesthetic into a futuristic contemporary style.

At Moncler Hangzhou Eurostreet, Gilles&Boissier works with materials in a unique way. Upon entering, the upper section of the wood paneling gives way to textured plaster that forms luminous inserts. In this same room, two islands of Crystal White marble have been hammered to reveal a texture reminiscent of snow. This technique deconstructs the marble, challenges its conventional aesthetic, and creates a subtle contrast between the material’s density and the visual lightness of the finish.
On the same level, a room is entirely finished in travertine. At its center stands a monolithic block, devoid of any apparent decorative elements. In the background, a niche carved from New Marble Zimbabwe creates a mineral, almost earthy texture, whose reflections under the lighting evoke the shifting surface of water.
The monumental stairwell, designed like a cabin, is entirely clad in Saint Williams granite. The structure and the molded base of the staircase are finished in Nero Marquina marble, which seems to delicately cover the stone, as if in balance.
The ensemble embodies the classic yet contemporary oxymoron characteristic of Moncler’s aesthetic: dramatic dark oak moldings and luminous columns of glass and backlit linen coexist in a constant quest for balance between tradition and modernity.
