For many years, the artist François Houtin has collaborated with Gilles & Boissier to envision unique murals that adorn exceptional locations such as the Baccarat Hotel in New York, a private mansion in Milan, and a Moncler boutique in Paris. At the heart of this artistic collaboration, the tree of life—a universal symbol of renewal and balance—has naturally emerged as a guiding theme. The Fontainebleau candleholder, made of patinated bronze, is one of its finest expressions. Its slender silhouette, enhanced by a wax candle, delicately embodies the meeting of art and nature. This product is suitable for candles with a circumference of Ø 60mm.
The Gilles&Boissier pieces are brought to life by exceptional artisans, chosen for the excellence of their craftsmanship and the precision of their gesture. Deeply attached to French heritage, the Maison anchors the majority of its production in France, close to a living and demanding artisanal tradition.
In a constant pursuit of quality and authenticity, Gilles&Boissier also travels the world in search of the finest workshops, where craftsmanship is centuries old, rooted in local territories and intimately connected to raw materials. Each collaboration results from a rigorous selection: artisans capable of preserving ancestral techniques while expressing them within a contemporary language.
Today, Gilles&Boissier production remains largely based in France, which accounts for 62% of the pieces produced. The rest of the manufacturing is distributed between other countries of the European Union (16%), Africa (14%), Asia (6%), and South America (3%), reflecting a selective and coherent approach to craftsmanship on an international scale.
All our products are carefully prepared and shipped in packaging specifically designed for fragile items, ensuring optimal protection of your Gilles&Boissier creation throughout transport. Our small accessories are delivered in the Maison’s iconic pouches or boxes.
